Dixie Goes To The Races

Dixie Belle is my precious Goffins’s Cockatoo who turned one year old on June 26th. She likes to chew on her flight suits, so I always sew leather or ribbon tassles on them, so she can satisfy her need to chew and not tear her flight suits. Dixie knows that when she puts on her flight suit that she will get to go outside, and she loves that!!! When we go camping, she’s the literal “Belle of the ball” when we go walking and she’s sporting her latest flight suit!!

I look forward to getting her flight suit each month. I do have a suggestion for a future flight suit pattern. We are huge race fans and Dixie goes to the races here in Charlotte twice a year, in May and then again, in October. I would love to see one done in some sort of racing theme like checkered flags. Thank you so much and have a great day!!

Received the flight suits and did not even have to train my Goffin Ollie to them…took to it immediately and he goes everywhere with us….the stores let me bring him in as he has the birdie diaper on and he is the center of attention….when I get the suit out and say you want to go bye – bye… he steps right into it for me to put it on him and he is ready to go….thank you I wish I had trained all my other birds to these at an early age…..they are great and so adorable.

….it was amazing….that he took to it soooo quickly without a struggle!!! They are great and I am telling all my friends who have birds about them….and the breeder I got him from is also recommending using them…she thought Ollie looked adorable and safe….I sent her the link to your site, so she can pass it on to others who buy her birds…..I have purchase leashes to match all his outfits…cute as he can be!!! cannot say enough about how great these are… I appreciate you sending them so quickly as he got to wear the red one with the silver stars on July 4th and was a great hit!!!! am so pleased to have gotten the 7 suits….I love having a choice of what he will wear today….

……can’t say enough about them….except my Ollie and me love ‘em….

Attached is a photo of Harry in HER flight suit. I purchased it because I am part of the “Sammy Rides” group of bicycle riders – grandparents riding for pediatric cancer – who will be bicycling 2,400 miles from Sun City (Phoenix) Arizona to Sun City Center Florida next March to May. If you receive the AARP Bulletin, you will find a story about us in this month’s (July’s) issue. We will also be bicycling 100 miles from here to the AARP Convention in Orlando at the end of September, and I needed the flight suit, since we will be featured there, and Harry will be with me during the 3 days, because she will be riding on my shoulder on both rides. So, I suspect that your flight suit will get quite a bit of attention. Also, the flight suit will be needed when we visit sick children in hospitals along the way. Mum in the peace parrot suit

I recently seen your product on animal planet and thought to myself wow what a good idea. I just purchased a bronze winged pionus it is my first bird and I love being a bird owner already. But one draw back was every time I had “mum” out it made messes on me or my furniture. So when I seen the animal planet show with your product. I took the info down and ordered one of your flight packs I got the peace parrot one because of the cool designs and for another is the donation to the Gabriel foundation you guy are doing a wonderful thing. I received the flight pack promptly in the mail. I read your great instructions and a day later “mum” was sporting the fight suit and I wasn’t sporting “mums” messes anymore so thanks again avian fashions I soon will be ordering more suits for “mum”.
